Limited Life Time Warranty
Each Sun-Pure SP-10 Water Purifier comes with a limited life time warranty excluding expendable parts such as filters and UV lamp. This exceptional warranty provides for repair or replacement of any defective parts or components for two years from the date of purchase at no charge for labor or materials. Warranty work for the remaining life of the product will be provided with a maximum cost not to exceed $45.00 dollars to the original owner. This warranty does not cover the expendable ultraviolet lamp, which must be replaced on an annual basis (1-year) or the expendable filter cartridge media which also must be replaced on an annual basis (1-year) or sooner depending on environmental conditions. All warranty repair work must be performed either at the factory or by a factory certified service center. Shipping cost to the factory or service center is the responsibility of the owner of the Water Purifier. Warranty return shipping from the factory is prepaid for the first two years only. This warranty is provided to the original purchaser of the water purifier and may not be transferred, sold or bartered. Sun-Pure water purifiers are self installed by either the customer or the outside agent and Ultra-Sun Technologies will not be responsible for damage caused by leaks due to faulty or incorrect installation or leaks caused by excessive water pressure in excess of 85 pounds per square inch. This product is not warranted against freight damage, failure resulting from misuse, connection to incorrect voltage, or acts of God such as fires, earthquakes or floods.
Every once in a while a customer will call to find out how to reset the Sun Pure SP10 controls after a filter change. The quick response is to just press the reset buttons on the front of the cover. Of course we try to handle all of our customers with respect, so we patiently wait for them to try again. Then we find out that this has been attempted several times and now we both feel the frustration. One place to check, which is usually the problem, is the tabs just above the ultra-violet chamber inside the unit (see pictures below). Take the cover off of the Sun Pure SP10 unit and carefully pry the tabs out, but just enough so they can make contact again. Once these tabs make contact, try the reset buttons again. If this does not work, just give us a call and we will find the answers for you.
Step one: Remove the cover and locate the tabs just above the UV sterilization chamber.
Step two: Carefully bend the tabs just enough to make contact with the screws on the inside of the cover.
While there are dozens of water filter systems on the market, only the Sun Pure SP10 water filter system incorporates so many features and offers a limited lifetime warranty!
I would buy a unit for each of my children if these were still available. I cannot find anything like the Sun Pure SP10. I just got my unit back from being refurbished and it is like new! I only paid the $45.00 plus shipping. Thank you for your great service. TK Salem, OR
